OUR STUDIO

We are a small but mighty team of makers. Our collection is created, start to finish, in our Fort Worth, TX based studio - no factories, no outsourcing of production.

 

MESSAGE FROM MEGAN

I like pretty things. With a maternal grandmother as a bridal seamstress, and a paternal grandmother as an art teacher, design – color pattern texture – has always been my heartsong. I studied apparel design and worked briefly in the fashion industry as assistant designer for a lingerie company, but a fortuitous introduction to metalsmithing gave me my life’s passion. Since 2007 I’ve been shaping the delicate flowers and sinuous gold ribbons of my dreams into heirloom jewels, and it is with this I-can’t-believe-this-is-my-job joy that we carefully craft each piece in recycled 18K gold and ethically sourced stones at the Megan Thorne Fine Jewels studio in Fort Worth, Texas.

I wear my own great-grandmother’s wedding ring and feel, know, that the true beauty of an object is not just its form, but its story. Pretty things for today, beautiful things for tomorrow

 

OUR SHOWROOM

Located in Fort Worth's vibrant South Main Village in the Near Southside, our atelier rests on the ground floor of a converted 1920s farm apparel factory. Here you will find our complete collection of engagement rings, wedding bands, and fine jewelry. Walk-ins are always welcome, and we encourage appointments to discuss custom projects or for more personalized engagement ring viewing.

Every jewel is created on site by our small team of artisans. We use recycled 18K gold and offer a variety of diamond and gemstone options including antique and upcycled stones as well as modern cuts, and source as ethically and transparently as possible.
